The grade 9 and grade 11 school-leaving exams
Open lessonUniversity admission: two stages and five specialty groups
Open lessonScoring: calculate your own points
Open lesson- RSrelative score (0–100)
- Wsum of points on the 10 written tasks (0–10)
- Cnumber of correct answers on the 20 closed tasks
- Wsum of points on the 7 full-solution tasks (0–7)
- Kcorrect answers on the 5 coded tasks
- Ccorrect answers on the 13 closed tasks
- Rright answers on the 22 closed tasks
- Xwrong answers on the closed tasks (blanks are not counted)
- Kcorrect answers on the 5 coded tasks
- Wsum of points on the 3 written tasks (0–3)
If the closed part (R − X/4) comes out negative, it is taken as zero. Wrong answers on open tasks are not penalized. The subject's relative score is then multiplied by its weight coefficient (1.5 or 1).
For specialty groups I–IV. RS₁ and RS₂ are the group's subjects with coefficient 1.5, RS₃ the subject with coefficient 1.

Open lesson- A₀starting value
- ppercentage increase (+) or decrease (−)
For successive changes, multiply the factors: +20% then −20% → 1.2 · 0.8 = 0.96, that is −4% overall.
- a₁, dfirst term and common difference of an arithmetic progression
- b₁, qfirst term and common ratio of a geometric progression
The last two equalities are Vieta's theorem — the fastest way to check roots.
- P = m / nP = m / nprobability: favourable outcomes / all equally likely outcomes

Open lesson- Q = c · m · Δtheat needed for heating (J); c — specific heat capacity, Δt — temperature change
- 1/R = 1/R₁ + 1/R₂1/R = 1/R₁ + 1/R₂total resistance of two resistors in parallel
- n = m / Mn = m / Mamount of substance (mol); M — molar mass (g/mol)
- ωmass fraction of the solute; m(solution) = m(solute) + m(solvent)

Time management and smart guessing
Open lessonThe average is misleading: a closed task may take 1 minute and a written solution 5–8 minutes. The 180 minutes are the 2026 time; DIM has not yet announced the school-leaving exam time for 2027.
- Ethe average “net” right answers one guess brings
